CMA are delighted to be working with a PE backed services organisation based in Woking to recruit for an interim Finance Systems Accountant for a 6 month contract.

You will be responsible in conjunction with the Head of Financial Analysis to ensure successful implementation of IBM Planning Analytics alongside supporting the wider team with core financial accounting duties.

What will the Finance Systems Accountant role involve?

• Maintain the finance systems road map.
• Produce and document process-flows, procedures and application system specifications.
• Treasury activity by way of ownership of Cashflow Forecasting model and understanding actual cash movements versus expectations.
• Financial Year-End Audit support including ownership of consolidation workings file that supports the group financial statements.
• Taxation compliance support and lead contact with Group’s external tax advisors to complete the preparation and filing of Group corporation tax returns and associated filings – example, R&D credit.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Systems Accountant vacancy:

• ACCA, ACA, CIMA Qualified.
• Working knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics tool Cognos/TM1.
• Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with the wider team.
• Previous experience in a multi-site, B2C environment preferable.
• Treasury activity by way of ownership of Cashflow Forecasting model and understanding actual cash movements versus expectations.
