Job description
This is an exciting role for a Financial Accountant or First Time Mover looking to make a significant impact within the Technology & Telecoms industry. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting practices, standards and regulations.
- Contribute to a division’s financial operations and reporting process
- Develop and manage financial systems and policies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- Provide insightful information and expectations to the company’s leadership to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
- Contribute or lead on automation projects and processes

A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification either ACA or ACCA
- Proven experience in a technical accounting role or experience within audit / accounts prep in practice
- Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Up to date knowledge of all accounting standards
- SOX experience (preferred but not required – this can be learnt on the job)
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
- Proficiency in use of accounting software
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial colleagues
- An interest or experience in automation
