What you’ll do:Reporting to the Manager, Accounting for Canadian Tire Bank, the Financial Analyst will assist with daily operations, reconciliation and reporting related to the Glacier Credit Card Trust.Perform tasks related to day-to-day operations for Glacier Credit Card Trust including series payments, maturities, and new transactionsCommunicate with ratings agencies and trusteesPrepare monthly Servicer report for GlacierPrepare monthly Commercial Paper Disclosure Servicer report for GlacierPrepare monthly Investors’ Performance Summary for GlacierPrepare quarterly Portfolio Performance Data to be posted on SEDAR+Perform month-end accounting and reconciliations for GlacierProvide analysis and support, including preparing key metrics and providing commentary to the Senior Management team related to GlacierAssist with the preparation of quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Management’s Discussion and Analysis for GlacierMaintain an appropriate control environmentAnalyze accounting policy decisions, as requiredAssist with audit requirementsWork on special projects as assigned by leadershipWhat you bring:Minimum three (3) years of relevant accounting / finance experienceUniversity degree, preferably in Finance or related disciplineStrong accounting standards (IFRS) knowledgeA curious mindset and the ability to learn quicklyProficient analytical thinking ability and strong attention to detailAccounting designation (CPA), or working towardsIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to act decisively and proactively and deal with deadlines during peak periodsMust be able to deal with a variety of issues on a concurrent basisAbility to work independently and as a team member while under pressurePeopleSoft working knowledge and experience is preferredExperience with IFRS reporting is strongly preferredExperience working in a Treasury or Securitization function is preferredHybridWe value flexibility.
