Financial Control VP – London – Banking, Transportation Infrastructure FundThis is a compelling opportunity for a VP level Financial Controller to join a Global Bank who has ventured into sizeable Transportation Infrastructure Fund. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Financial Reporting (IFRS, US GAAP), Cash Management, handling European Regulatory requirements, as well as engaging 3rd party administrator.Financial Control VP – London – Banking, Transportation InfraCity of London location with hybrid working (3-4 days per week in office, flex)
- Quarterly and annual financial reporting process for all investment products – with real emphasis on Transportation Infrastructure Fund; constantly striving for Control environment value add/improvements
- US GAAP, IFRS and fund documentation
- Active cash management, 3rd party vendor management and investor reporting
- Luxembourg Regulatory requirements
- Full understanding of investment structures, debt documents and partnership agreements
- Portfolio liquidity for operational and risk analytics
- Business level budgeting and forecasting
- Ad-hoc projects and initiatives, insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth
- Calculate and review Fund performance data, including return and attribution analysis

- Academically strong with further Chartered Accountancy (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, or equivalent
- Any exposure to Transportation Infrastructure Funds will put the application to the top ! But very interested also in applicants with wider Infrastructure Funds who are comfortable working within a Global Bank (as opposed to bespoke AM) – means will have awareness of tax implications, asset valuation methods, fair market value accounting, currency impacts
- Strong systems skills including ability to handle financial modelling (valuation of portfolio/fund)
- Strong understanding of financial regulations (Luxe/EU Regulatory specifically) and legislation
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills (whilst this role will not immediately have any direct reports there is a global footprint of some 40 heads alongside 3rd party oversight – eventually may enjoy taking on in-house directs too)
