CMA has been engaged by our established and leading specialist sector client who are currently looking to appoint a Financial Controller into a crucial role to manage to day-to-day finance for their head office in Ferndown, Dorset.
This is an ideal opportunity to join a friendly, family run £12M T/O business and will be you the opportunity to run a small finance department.
What will the Financial Controller role involve?
- All financial accounts and management accounts to be produced accurately to strict deadlines;
- Management of a team of two reports, ensuring their purchase ledger, sales ledger work is overseen and supported;
- Commercial reporting, forward thinking analysis and business profitability;
- Producing budgeting and forecasting reports for Director meetings.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:
- Qualified or nearing qualification for CIMA/ACCA or ACA and able to demonstrate technical ability in the above;
- People management experience, able to support and mentor a small team;
- Great opportunity for a first Financial Controller move for an existing Finance Manager or senior Management Accountant;
- Strong technical accounting skills, confident with month and year end accounts.
