Lyra Technology Group is looking for a full-time Financial Controller to join the Finance team at one of our operating companies in Vancouver. Dyrand has strong alliances with Lenovo, Dell, HP, Microsoft (Microsoft Azure/Office 365), and many other leading vendors and manufacturers.Your work as the Financial Controller includes several components:
- Manage AP/AR processes.
- Handle subcontractor and supplier invoices, including setting up new vendors.
- Oversee and manage company payroll.
- Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
- Analyze financial data and assist in making financial recommendations.
- Conduct routine data entry for accounting records, invoicing, and billing.
- Issue bills/invoices to customers and set up new customer accounts.
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing tasks.
- Complete bank reconciliations.
- Maintain financial documents using an appropriate filing system.
- Deposit cheques at the bank.
- Assist in audits as required.
- Coordinate effectively with team members, other departments, customers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Provide courteous customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Our ideal Financial Controller has the following qualifications:
- 4+ years’ experience in a financial controller role.
- Proficient in bank reconciliations and bookkeeping tasks.
- Experience managing payroll.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Expertise in accounting software (QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics).
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is essential.
