Job description
This role is for an adept Financial Controller who will oversee the accounting and finance department for a reputable NGO Children’s Charity. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, managing the group consolidations, producing financial reports and maintaining the day to day accounting.
- Managing the day to day operations of the accounting and finance department
- Overseeing all financial operations
- Producing accurate financial reports
- Managing financial risk
- Group consolidations
- Developing and implementing strategic financial plans
- Guiding financial decisions by applying company policies and managing accounting functions
- Establishing, coordinating and maintaining an operational budget
- Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
Hybrid Working in Central London|NGO Making a Difference GloballyA successful Financial Controller should have:
- A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Proven experience in a Technical Accounting position
- Ambitious growth mindset
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
