Job Overview:
Support KDP’s Financial Business Services (FBS) department by partnering with the Controller, Commercial Finance and IT departments to provide front-line support for all financial systems, design and develop key financial reports and analysis and develop process automation primarily in the Trade & Marketing Spend, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Payroll and Master Data areas, to meet changing business needs.
This position is based in Frisco, TX and will have a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days work from home)
Responsibilities:
Reporting:
- Partner with the Financial Systems Director and IT teams to further develop the department’s reporting capabilities to provide flexible reporting and analysis tools for strategic analyses, operational reporting, and decision-making support.
- Assist in providing management with insights on trends and variances, identification of business drivers and evaluation of their impact on planned objectives.
- Provide knowledge and guidance on KDP’s financial sub-ledger systems (Siebel, Marketing Funds, Demantra, Vistex) and SAP transactional data (including Master Data, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Cash) and the relationships the data has within the processes and business.
- Assist in providing strategic oversight for existing and new business requirements for reporting; partnering with IT and Master Data to find efficient solutions.
- Provide reporting to support Sarbanes-Oxley requirements to ensure timely and accurate compliance.
Systems:
- Assist the Financial Systems Director with system administration, development and maintenance of KDP’s sub-ledger systems, including defining business requirements for development/enhancement work, testing and implementation.
- Collaborating with Business Stakeholders, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent.
- Prepare and maintain documents for system design, data flow, system procedures and general system information.
- Assist with IT projects as needed.
- Serve as an IT Super User for systems utilized throughout Financial Services, including but not limited to: Siebel, Marketing Funds, SAP, Demantra, Concur, Esker, Microstrategy and BW.
- Continually assess and identify process improvements and best practices to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems as required.
- Creating system guidelines and manuals for the organization.
Business Support:
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Running training sessions and workshops on system processes.
- Conducting regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas.
- Help identify process improvements and best practices to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of management reporting and related data structures/reporting.
- Structuring and prioritizing business requirements and communicating plans with stakeholders for review and approval.
- Maintain a positive attitude and proactively reach out to users to provide the best customer service.
Requirements:
- 2 years financial or systems reporting background (e.g. SAP, Cognos, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, BW, etc.)
- 1-year advanced knowledge of SAP FI/CO and SAP SD OR similar ERP systems
- Knowledge of coding and experience building automated solutions for reporting
Preferred
- Work experience as a developer, solution architect, business analyst, and process automation
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
