Job description
Fire Alarm Technical Support required. Our client is a well established Fire Alarm specialist that has been in the industry over 30 years. They are now looking for a Fire Alarm Technical Support due to the growth of the business.
Successful candidates will undertake online/telephone Fire Alarm technical support, online/in person product training and potential travel to visit distributors and assist in onsite technical support/training (worldwide). The successful candidate will be responsible for our bespoke onsite training facility and supporting our new and existing product lines. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, an understanding of the principles of fire safety engineering, and the ability to effectively communicate with customers.
Candidates will have to attend site visits but only a couple of times a year. The majority of the work will be in the Swansea office.
Fire Alarm Technical Support Position Overview
- Assist in design of fire protection systems.
- Assist sales in customer requirements/suitable solutions.
- Understanding of current fire alarm standards.
- Communicate with customers day to day.
- Problem solving/technical assistance to R&D.
Fire Alarm Technical Support Position Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in the Fire Alarm industry
- Knowledge of multiple fire alarm systems essential
- Previous experience training engineers advantageous.
Fire Alarm Technical Support Position Remuneration
- Salary: £35,000.00 per year
- Monday to Friday (8am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-2:30pm Fri)
- Holiday Package: 20 + 8BH
