Role: Fire Risk AssessorLocation: London and South EastSalary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annumTechnical Resources are recruiting for two Fire Risk Assessor’s to join an expanding team, covering contracts in London and the South East. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a strong background in fire safety, looking to apply their expertise across a diverse property portfolio in the built environment.Responsibilities:

• Conduct fire risk assessments in compliance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and relevant regulations (CDM, JCOP, HSG168) for construction sites.
• Create descriptive reports using internal software and MS Word, with remedial actions highlighted.
• Collaborate with the Head of Fire to deliver fire risk assessments in residential, commercial, and construction sites per contractual requirements.
• Attend client meetings as necessary and provide technical fire safety advice and practical solutions.
• Participate in company training sessions and occasional UK travel, with potential overnight stays.
• Support continuous business improvement and contribute to meeting business objectives.
• Comply with Health & Safety policy, report accidents and ‘near misses,’ and ensure a safe working environment.

Experience and Certifications Required:

• Recognised level 3 or higher Fire Risk Assessment course from the Institution of Fire Engineers, Fire Protection Association, or similar.
• Membership with IFE / IFSM; MIFireE or the ability to apply and gain MIFireE is desired.
• Accredited with a third-party scheme such as the Institution of Fire Engineers Register of Fire Risk Assessors.
• At least 3 years of experience in conducting fire risk assessments, with a preference for construction site experience.
• Proficiency in writing detailed technical reports.
• BAFE validator experience is preferred, as is experience in delivering fire safety training.
