The Local Policing Department is seeking to hire a full-time, permanent Firearms Licensing Support based at Mansfield House. We are in search of an individual who embodies professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.In the role, you will be responsible for the administration of all aspects of the licensing of shotguns. You will also be responsible for visiting and interviewing those who are applying for a shotgun license renewal.Key Responsibilities

  • Process applicants for the grant and renewal of shotgun certificates.
  • Respond to enquiries by telephone, email and in person from Police Officers, Staff and members of the public.
  • Visit and interview applicants for the grant or renewal of a shotgun.

The must haves

  • GCSE grade C/4 in English Language and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Experience in an administrative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, providing high-quality service to customers.
