Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Debt Capital Markets group, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide high quality, timely origination support & pitch development
- Drive seamless transaction execution
- Lead responsibility of centralized DCM processes, record keeping, and data management
- Effectively collaborate with team members
- Maintains a high attention to detail
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage the organizations relationships, systems and knowledge
- Understand how the institution’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
- Contribute to a high performance and inclusive work environment
What You’ll Bring:
- Undergraduate or Masters degree in a related field of finance, business, economics, accounting
- 2-3 year relevant experience in capital markets, investment banking, consulting or corporate finance roles
- A demonstrated track record of maintaining high quality of work while balancing multiple priorities and competing deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Bloomberg Terminals
- Curious attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, think creatively and proactively
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
Working Arrangement:
- This position is currently a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will work 3-4 days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
- Non-standard hours are a common occurrence
- Limited to no travel
