Job Summary:The Fleet Aftersales Manager (UK) role sits within the BYD UK Aftersales team representing the ‘voice of fleet’ . Taking their direction from the head of fleet sales you will develop programmes to position and promote BYD fleet in the UK. A key requirement is to ensure BYD UK is fully aligned to fleet customer needs in minimising vehicle ‘downtime’ and cost competitive through comprehensive parts and service support to our customers.This is a new position and affords the opportunity to shape the role from the ground up. The position is based in London (Uxbridge).Responsibilities and Duties: * Understand the key needs of the fleet customer and align aftersales activites to meet and exceed these needs, positioning BYD as the leading aftersales provider for customer service in the UK

  • Develop and implement an aftersales programme to achieve best in class fleet customer support
  • Provide expert insight and guidance to fleet customers and the BYD retailer network to ensure customer needs are fully met or exceeded
  • Participate in fleet events, building relationships with the key industry stakeholders to influence and align our aftersales proposition to support and delight fleet customers
  • Monitor our competitive service, maintenance and repair (SMR) cost position and report significant variances to the head of fleet sales, with reommendations to improve our position
  • Collect and analyse market data, monitor marketing performance and market feedback of competitor activity (that are in the public domain), prepare reports and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of our aftersales proposition and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications: * Proven experience in aftersales management at an OEM, leasing company or provider of aftersales services and solutions, with a solid knowledge of the market, regulations and best practices.

  • Advanced project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and possess above average decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention for detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and coordination skills, with the ability to establish productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with strong influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, with the ability to conduct data analysis and report writing.
  • The ability to communicate and articulate complex subjects in simple language that everyone can understand.
  • Strong team collaboration and leadership abilities, with the capacity to drive teams towards common goals and effectively coordinate and communicate in cross-functional collaborations.
  • A motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently, in a fast paced environment where common sense and initiative are essential personal traits.
  • Willingness to travel as required in the UK and further afield as required.
