We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting functions within the construction industry. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:-Accurately process customer credit applications and conduct credit card reconciliations-Oversee and manage all accounts payable and receivable activities, including collections over 60 days-Execute full cycle payroll for employees using Jonas Software-Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records-Handle all billing functions and expense tracking-Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy-Utilize accounting software systems including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook-Oversee and manage all accounting functions within the organization-Ensure all financial reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner-Resolve any customer inquiries related to their accounts or transactions.-Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role-Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems-Experience with ADP – Financial Services-Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook-Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions-Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)-Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations-Familiarity with Billing Functions-Experience with Full Cycle Payroll-Strong attention to detail and accuracy-Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities-Strong written and verbal communication skills-Ability to work independently and as part of a team-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
