We are currently seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is crucial in our industry, involving various accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring smooth transactions. This position offers a short term contract.Responsibilities:

• Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing credit applications from customers.
• Managing accounts receivable and payable on a weekly basis.
• Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Handling collections and general ledger entries.
• Executing intercompany transfers and bank deposits.
• Managing end-of-month and end-of-year financial closures.
• Processing monthly employee expense reports.
• Conducting petty cash disbursement and reconciliations.
• Completing vendor and customer forms upon request.
• Issuing vendor purchase orders and invoicing.
• Tracking employee vacations and handling requests in accordance with company policy.
• Posting benefits costs.
• Utilizing Ceridian for payroll functions, including creation of bi-weekly excel sheet submissions, new employee setup, and payroll expense entries in Excel and QuickBooks.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Strong knowledge of all accounting functions is mandatory

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Must have handled payroll for under 100 employees

• Knowledge of Ceridian software is a significant plus
