Hours: Sunday, Monday, Friday & Saturday 2000 – 0530hr
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement – calculation after 88 hours bi-weeklyThe day-to-day work activities of an Access Control Security Guard include, but are not limited, the following duties:
- Control entry and access to the hospital
- Ensuring compliance with the standards, rules, and regulations at the hospital
- Able to use tact and diplomacy in dealings across a range of settings and situations
- Ability to maintain and enforce access control procedures
- Solid understanding of emergency and standard operating procedures
- Deal with trespassers and unauthorized persons found on the property, in a fair and safe manner, by enforcing the Trespass to Property Act
- De-escalate emergency/crisis situations
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy
- Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
- Valid Ontario Security Licence
Certification Requirements (Any)Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
