MXCO’s Fundraising operation focuses on pledge where individual donors’ acquisition by Face to Face (F2F) plays a key role to sustain the expansion of the fundraising operation in the country. 

The growth and consolidation of this important channel (F2F), includes management of F2F agencies and the incorporation of new ones, this requires a professional able to develop and implement strategies with the F2F agencies in order to achieve their target, advice for F2F technical improvements, handle the different aspects of the work with F2F agencies, which implies follow up of the different key performance indicators according, the monitoring of an increased numbers of activities with different timelines, decision taking to ensure an optimum implementation and gathering of different sources of information to compile a unified view of the F2F acquisition strategy and results.

How can you make a difference?

Under the direct supervision of the Fundraising Officer (Acquisition) and in close collaboration with the different functional areas of the Individual Giving Team, this post is responsible to assist agencies to achieve their target and for the development, implementation, and evaluation of Fundraising activities through external F2F agencies aimed to acquire pledge donors. 

the postholder will carry out the following tasks:

  1. Operation and Technical Expertise 
  2.  Planning and Strategy 
  3. Agency Management  
  4. Relationships

To qualify as an advocate for every child, you will have the following requirements… 

  • Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Social Communication, Marketing, Finance, Social Development, or related social science field will be an asset. 
  • 7 years of progressively responsible experience in direct sales, public relations or marketing.

For this position, a bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a relevant field may replace three years of related work experience.

  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Intermediate level of English.

You may also have the following assets (desirable, not mandatory) … 

  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience training and coaching marketing or sales teams.
  • Knowledge in fundraising with direct sales strategies such as Face to Face, Telemarketing, or otherwise with corporate donor strategies, foundations, or high-profile donors.
