Job Description Summary The GE Vernova Internship (FMP) is a project-oriented work assignment designed to offer hands-on finance experience in the GE Finance Team. The assignment is designed to expose the intern to GE Vernova’s strategic initiatives and the role Finance plays in achieving the business’ objectives specifically focus on Energy Financial Service business.

Job Description

This internship is focused to support both EFS and Gas Power businesses in improving an internal financial analysis process. Key expectations:

  • Current state analysis: map existing process of cost consolidation
  • Process future state: work with EFS and Gas power teams to identify recommendations and process improvement
  • Digitization: Help in automatizing the future state as much as possible

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • BA/MSc in Economics, Business Administration, Finance (or equivalent knowledge or experience)
  • MS Office Excel and PowerPoint working knowledge
  • English mandatory, Italian is a plus
  • EU Work Permit is essential
  • Candidate status:

*Preferred: 2nd year University Master of Science (MSc) students
*Economics, Quantitative, Finance, Accounting degrees (or equivalent knowledge or experience) * WORK STYLE: mainly office work (Hammersmith, London) with flexibility of remote

EMPLOYMENT DATES:

  • Internship duration: 3 months (with opportunity for a prolongation)
  • Full time work preferred: 40 hours/week (with some flexibility related to study/exam commitments)
  • Preferred start date: beginning June 2024
