We are seeking a talented, dynamic and dedicated General Manager to work with the clinical leads and service heads.Main duties of the jobForming part of the Divisional Management Team, the post holder will undertake a wide range of duties to support the Divisional Director of Operations, Deputy Director of Operations and Clinical Service Director in the operational management of the Division. They will work closely with the clinical teams to ensure the delivery of the key national targets in relation to patient access and the efficient delivery of high quality services.   • Masters level degree or equivalent level of relevant management experience.

ExperienceEssential

  • 3 years + of operating in a managerial role. Including line management
  • Knowledge of NHS direction and policy initiatives
  • Proven change management skills in a complex health care setting
  • 2 years + Experience in budgetary and resource management

Analytical and Judgement SkillsEssential

  • Able to recognise and deliver exemplary patient interaction.
  • Ability to inspire confidence and respect of others through excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to hold direct and non direct reports to account.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills. Self-starter- able to manage and organise own workload to ensure deadlines are met
