We are now looking for an approachable, committed, and professional Registered General Nurse who would like to join our team. We are seeking someone who can demonstrate courteous, sincere, and sensitive patient service, whilst also committing to quality and excellent patient care in the practice.The right candidate will need to have a passion for both Healthcare and the fast-paced culture of a growing company. You will need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Position Requirements:

• Must be a Registered General Nurse with the NMBI
• Experience in Phlebotomy
• Have 2 years of post-graduate experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational, and telephone skills
• Computer literate
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Flexible attitude to changing work practices

Specific Job Details:Location: CarlowContract: Casual Contract 14 – 18 hours per weekWorking Hours & Pattern: Monday (9am-5pm) Tuesday & Friday (9am – 1 pm)Salary Range: €26 – €28 per hour depending on experience.Roles & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Immunisation· Administering Infant, childhood, flu, and other vaccinationsTravel Medicine· Administering travel vaccinations· Travel AdviceChronic Disease Management· ECG, phlebotomy, lifestyle questionnaire, cholesterol testing and dietary advice as per CDM Programme· Blood pressure monitoring· Nursing management of chronic diseasesFemale Health· Cervical Screening· Family PlanningSexual Health· Opportunistic STI screening· Sexual Health adviceSkin/Wound Care· Treatment of venous leg ulcers and other skin injuries· Assessment and treatment of skin lacerations· Removal of sutures· Nursing management of skin conditions – eczema, psoriasisGeneral Nursing Duties· Health promotion and education· Telephone triage and advice· Phlebotomy· Ear Irrigation· Administering prescribed long-term medications/injectionsTraining will be provided for the suitable candidateKey Skills – What we look for in our employees:Patient Focus· The ability to remain calm, professional, and polite in dealing with our patients and colleaguesPersonal Integrity· Be professional in your approach to your work· Be honest and reliable· Be trustworthy and respectfulTeamwork· Build and maintain good relationships with all colleagues· Be willing to take on jobs to balance the team workload· Aim to communicate well with people at all levelsDevelop yourself and others· Be motivated to learn and develop· Support, encourage, and motivate others· Coach, guide, and give constructive feedback to othersCentric Health is an equal opportunities employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work force.
