This position will manage and lead global category initiatives and projects. It will monitor supplier performance, specification development and demand management, support development of innovation programs, manage supplier risks and conduct regular business reviews. This position will lead contract negotiations, , specification definition and demand management and will manage supplier performance and innovation activities.YOU ARE GOOD AT:Category Sourcing Plan:Support in analysis of supply market, understanding products/services being purchased within category, understanding internal demand/specification and external best practicesIdentify and analyse strategic sourcing options under the guidance of the Global Category ManagerRun/support tender process, including seeking approvals from Global Category Manager, SVP Global Procurement and other internal stakeholders, as requiredChallenge current working practices, specifications and demands for categoryHarmonize specification(s) with business stakeholders to standardize demandContract Development:Create negotiation plan and support Global Category Manager with supplier negotiationsEnsure adherence to signing authoritiesCommunicate contracts to relevant stakeholdersSupplier Development:Support Global Category Manager with regular performance reviews with preferred suppliersSupport actions on continuous improvement plan with preferred suppliersSupport development of alternative suppliersSupport development and implementation of contract KPI’sContract Lifecycle ManagementConduct supplier compliance reviews (i.e. use of supplier within sites, payment terms in system)Monitor supplier performance (i.e. contract KPI’s, price)Support contract compliance (i.e. restricted party screening, financial checks, conflict of interest checks, forced labour, embargoed countries, etc.)Support local sites with compliance to Global contracts, including communicationYOU CAN BRING:Educated to degree level in technical/ Business Administration or related subjects or relevant work experience5+ years work experience in a global procurement role with a focus on relevant categoriesUnderstanding of key sourcing processes and tools as well as contractual and legal aspectsStrong preference for Professional Procurement QualificationsFluent in EnglishDon’t meet every single requirement?
