British Council Pay band LMFGL
Salary: Starting from £88,001 plus £3,300 London Market Allowance {only for those based in the London area.}

Are you ready to take the lead in revolutionising the global People Solutions function at the British Council? We’re seeking an experienced individual to spearhead our efforts in creating better experiences across our organisation through effective, efficient, and innovative processes and solutions.
As the Director of People Solutions, you’ll lead the charge in developing and embedding effective and simple processes and solutions. Your role will be instrumental in enhancing our global capabilities across our four geographic hubs, ensuring excellence in advisory and operations services.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our organisation by:
- Leading and Developing Excellence: You’ll build and develop high-performing teams across our four geographic hubs, ensuring excellence in advisory and operational services.
- Innovation: Drive transformative change within our People Solutions function, leading the way in modernization and efficiency.
- Setting Global Standards: Your role will involve setting and embedding global standards and guidance for employee relations, reflecting our values and code of conduct to support all areas of our business.
- Fostering Collaboration: By cultivating new ways of working between different functions and our managed service provider, you’ll drive collaboration and innovation throughout the organisation.
