Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 plus car allowance, bonus and excellent benefitsWe’ve been engaged by one of the UK’s largest organisations that are market-leaders in the automotive industry. They are looking to bring onboard a new Global Health and Safety Business Partner, to work closely with the Global HSE Director, implementing the strategy in order to streamline it according to the business high-standards. The organisation has 1500 sites globally.The role will also liaise with senior stakeholders across the business, aiming to raise the level of health and safety performance across the portfolio and share best practice across UK and global sites.Responsibilities of the Global Health and Safety Business Partner will include:Ensure a culture of best practice health and safety across the business and property portfolio, ensuring regulatory complianceProvide expert guidance and leadership to the Board of Directors and engage with all staff across the organisation on health and safety issuesEnsure activities across the portfolio are properly risk assessed and manage a regular audit programme to evaluate performanceDevelop and manage the health and safety management system, seek opportunities to improve and enhance the overall Health and safety strategy and performanceThe successful Global Health and Safety Business Partner will have:NEBOSH diploma (or equivalent) and membership of IOSH.Proven experience in Global role (Regional is acceptable, such as APAC, Americas, EMEA) in a similar health and safety leadership position, ideally with property, facilities management or related industry experienceProven experience of influencing and engaging with stakeholders at all levelsWillingness to travel including international as requiredThis is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading property company in a professional and forward-thinking environment.
