As Global Human Resources Information Systems and Data Intern at our Global Office, you are part of a team that brings the legend of Belmond to life. You will report directly to the Global HRIS and Data Manager providing valuable support as we continue our journey to improve systems and data reporting capabilities. You can expect to be involved in improving and maintaining high quality standards, assisting with improvement projects and providing training and technical support to our local HR teams.   • Support: Collaborate with local HR teams to address data queries related to Talent Connect (Success Factors), our central HR system, enhancing their understanding and usage of the platform.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical and troubleshooting support to properties experiencing challenges with our interface (our central data repository), guiding them in identifying root causes, solutions and improving their technical proficiency.
  • Training: Provide proactive training to local HR users (new and current) on how to use our HRIS tools primarily Talent Connect, BAPI interface and Service Now. Conduct training sessions for users in need to ensure effective utilization of our HRIS tools.
  • Access Management: Handle access requests for Talent Connect, Belmond HR Social Reporting, and LVMH ADP ensuring users have the appropriate access to perform their roles effectively.
  • Project Support: Assist the HRIS & Data Manager with various projects as needed, contributing to the enhancement of HRIS initiatives.

Reporting

  • Monthly HR Reporting: Facilitate and monitor monthly HR reporting activities across Belmond.
  • Data Consolidation: Consolidate monthly headcount reports.
  • Turnover Reports: Produce monthly turnover reports for Belmond.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests, such as headcount requests and FTE.
  • Project Support: Assist the HRIS & Data Manager with various projects as needed, enabling our teams towards better processes and practices.

  • This role is generally able to benefit from our current hybrid working policy where team members can work remotely for up to two days per week.
  • This internship is available for up to 12 months. Consideration will be given for a shorter duration (upon request) with a minimum commitment of six months.
  • You will be asked to complete an assessment as part of the application process.

  • Our offices are located at Wogan House, 99 Great Portland Street, London W1W 7NY. Wogan House has undergone comprehensive renovations with brand-new fitted office space under the management of a leading co-working space and property management company.

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Business, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • An intermediate level in Excel with an ability to make effective use of conditional formatting, lookup formulae, pivot tables and charts. Additional skills in SQL, VBA and Macros are an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to articulately and confidently present technical information to a global and diverse team, both one-to-one and through leading virtual presentations.
  • You will be comfortable with navigating HR systems and diagnosing/troubleshooting technical errors.
  • You will be an analytical thinker with an ability to identify root causes of data discrepancies or system issues by investigating and breaking down problems.
  • You will have a solution-oriented mindset.
