We deliver the latest insights and real-world evidence to inform the best decisions for patients and their care-givers, to ensure the medicines we develop continue to provide meaningful outcomes.Beyond medicines, we support our stakeholder communities to drive initiatives that improve awareness, education, access and ultimately standards of care.The Opportunity:As a Global Market Access Implementation Lead, you will be responsible for implementing the global and international specific strategy in priority markets.You will work in close collaboration with local affiliates and the broader international team to develop local strategies that will enable access and value optimization across the region with an emphasis on key opportunity locations such as: Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Brazil, Mexico.You will support affiliates to achieve and maintain the optimal levels of patient access, reimbursement and pricing for key strategic pipeline brands and ensure key needs for the region are identified and mitigated.Hybrid Working:At Astellas we recognise the importance of balancing your work and home life, so we offer a hybrid working solution allowing time to connect with colleagues in person at the office alongside the flexibility to work from home; optimising the most productive work environment for you to succeed and deliver.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of global market access and pricing strategy, value dossier, value story (“Global Market Access Output”) for global pipeline products in priority markets.
- Identify areas of interest / focus for across the region and provide the Head of Global Market Access Implementation with recommendation / perspective.
- Liaise with medical and health economic KEEs to ensure optimized model structures and key data input for reimbursement applications and contribute to the advancement of new methodologies.
- Act as the team representative in Global Value team (GVT), Disseminate GVT deliverable to markets and ensure the regional market needs are well reflected (CVD, Value Proposition, Objection handler).
- Support affiliates in the development of their pricing and access strategy and dossier / model localisation for reimbursement application process (Support construction of business case, LRR -18, ensure appropriate Market Access needs captured in HEOR plan, Set up target prices).
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Global / International experience in a Market Access and/or Implementation Lead role in a major pharmaceutical company with strong patient/customer focus.
- Excellent communication skills and good understanding in the multicultural corporate environment.
- Excellent leadership and cohesion, with a vision of team success, and make plans to motivate others to work hard to achieve the vision.
- English professional level in speaking and writing.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Post-graduate qualification such as MBA and/or MSc or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Broad technical expertise and project leadership capabilities with a proven track record of effectively managing and influencing staff and stakeholders, a demonstrated ability to lead and deliver results and capability to solve complex issues involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in working effectively across diverse cultures with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and convey technical information, including complex policy and reimbursement information in business relevant language to diverse audiences.
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Additional information:
- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- This position is based in the United Kingdom.
- This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our Addlestone, United Kingdom office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
