This is an exciting opportunity to join the Millennium Seed Bank Partnership team at Wakehurst. (PDF, 85.21kb)More detailsWith proven solid experience in an administrative or personal assistant role, the ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with Microsoft Office packages (Access, Word, Excel, Outlook) and will be expected to demonstrate experience of databasing and researching information on the internet. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage time in order to complete tasks to tight deadlines.Training will be given where required, and the post holder is supported by a friendly dynamic team. However, much of the role entails working on the post holder’s own initiative, thus good organisational and prioritisation skills are essential.This is a varied role supporting a growing and diverse team to deliver an ambitious and exciting global conservation programme.This role is based at Wakehurst with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (RBG Kew) is a leading plant science institute, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and major visitor attraction.
