Apply today!What you will be doingGoods in operative/Booking clerk (Alliance Healthcare Leeds LS11 0LR)Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 15:15 & Friday – 07:00 – 15:30Rate of pay – £11.90Job Purpose:To ensure all incoming stock is accurately checked, correct information recorded and its safe transportation to the relevant area.The Booking In clerk (holiday and sickness cover) will ensure purchase orders are booked in via internal warehouse management system.All staff are expected to understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 68/01) which is reflected in our SOP – REF Chapter 1 AHDL GDP 1.1. It will be a requirement for all staff to be trained in this SOP and have an annual refresher. All other GDP training will be job specific and as per your personal training matrixKey AccountabilitiesOperating Standards:
- Achieving the agreed productivity level.
- Accounting for all incoming stock, ensuring the following procedures are applied.
Out of stocks lists are checked and items prioritised on receipt. Checking product description and pack size is correct. Checking product for damage and expiry date. Counting product and accurately recording on paperwork. Passing completed paperwork to Goods In Office.
- Reporting to Team Leader any other matters or queries.
- Ensuring housekeeping standards for inside and outside bays are maintained at all times.
- Ensuring all Health & Safety standards are met.
- Awareness of company security by ensuring all delivery drivers wait outside.
- To carry out any reasonable requests as determined by Branch Management.
- To ensure correct processing of purchase orders onto Leonardo system for 106 purchase orders
- To receipt consignment transfer shipments.
- Communicate with Goods Inwards for purchase orders booked into system for put away.
- To ensure purchase order queries communicated to purchasing teams.
- To ensure correct processing of purchase orders for non-stocked products and goods not for resale
- Communicate with accounts payable and approvers any GNFR discrepancies.
- All unusual quantities in goods in process must be brought to the attention of the team leader
- Query short dated stock with purchasing teams.
- Carry out any reasonable request as determined by Management.
- Any checking and/or put away errors must be reported to the team leaders immediately.
- If there is a problem with a particular line / area the team leader must be informed
- Pharmacy, Specials and Surgical orders, Fridge orders & Secure area orders must be processed in the same way however each have specific criteria that will be covered through training
- Awareness of Health & Safety procedures at all times.
