Archer are now looking for a full time, permanent, Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the UK Engineering team. Applications should be from MEng students ideally working towards CEng, have a basic understanding of project engineering requirements and commitment to continual improvement.
From projects on fixed and mobile installations to asset management and consultancy, Archer provides lifecycle engineering solutions dedicated to enhancing asset performance.
This position would be based in Blackburn, Aberdeen so applications should have a Right to Work in the UK.
The position would offer varied responsibilities and exposure with a busy discipline engineering team to support personal development.
- Work with the Project Manager and Project Engineers to ensure that all project work complies with and is delivered to the requirements of Archer Compass procedures.
- Interface with Engineering teams and Construction teams to coordinate the project delivery in accordance with the agreed Project Execution Plan.
- Assist with the development of the SOW and all CTR’s as required.
- Once the original SOW and CTR’s are locked, identify increase or reduction in scope, raising the necessary support documentation within the Management of Change process (commercial, technical, quality).
- Work with Cost Engineers to develop and update the monthly Project Cost Report.
- Continually update the Project Planning Engineer with current status and requirements.
- Review of cost and planning data in order to optimise activities or to identify any delay or conflicts within schedule, and to identify these to Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Cost Engineer.
- Assist in the selection of appropriate vendors in accordance with Archer quality requirements, seeking input from the Quality Engineer as required.
- Equipment sizing including calculations as required.
