Our client is seeking a dedicated and creative Graphic Designer to join their dynamic web retail design team on a contract basis. This role is perfect for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about delivering clean, web-ready designs that align with existing style guides and brand guidelines.Key Responsibilities:
– Designing compelling, brand-focused promotional graphics
– Optimizing digital images for efficient download
– Developing clean and effective graphic templates and style guides
– Managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlinesThe successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, web expertise, intrinsic design ability, and a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and liaise effectively with key stakeholders.Qualifications:
– Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a web production environment
– BA/BS in Design or equivalent
– Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver/HTML/CSS
– Strong attention to detail
– Self-motivated and capable of working independently
– Knowledge of Flash, ActionScript is a plus
– Retail web experience is a plus
