Giant Tiger is looking for a creative and dynamic Graphic designer to join the team for a maternity leave contract. The successful candidate will be able to work remotely for the duration of this contract.
Role Specific Accountabilities
- To follow the flyer creation process to build print and digital flyers through a 4-4.5-week schedule.
- To design impactful flyer pages with price impression within brand standards.
- To create flyer versions for our different markets across the country
- To work on a variety of additional ad hoc projects to support our marketing initiatives and our stores
Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- 5 years of work experience as a print-focused creative designer who is passionate about layout, design & photography
- Strong typography, layout/design, composition and pre-flight skills, photo/art direction an asset.
- Experience with Indesign, Photoshop and CC on a mac platform and print environment.
- Experience in retail advertising an asset including designing promotional emails, newspaper ads and in store signs
