We are looking for a talented individual to work with us in India to provide operational support to the recently started project “Asia Low Carbon Building Transition (ALCBT) Project” funded by Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) that will be implemented in 5 countries including India. The Project aimed to promote low carbon buildings in Asia by targeting the embodied carbon assessment in construction material of the buildings through life cycle approach.
Broad project outcomes for the project are mentioned below.
Development of Carbon Assessment Tool
Capacity Building of industry professionals e.g., building architect/ Professionals, Govt and Private institutes, Universities/ Academia, Energy professionals etc.
Create pathways for mobilizing investments into low carbon buildings through ESCO mode.
Scaling up and replication
 The intern’s assignment will include the following but not limited to:
  • Support to the ALCBT Project team (India) in day-to-day activities related to all matters pertaining to project administration, data management, reporting and information sharing.
  • Assist the project team in coordinating with key stakeholders and external consultants.
  • Assist project team in drafting the project report, documentation, and consolidating the data.
  • Undertake research, analysis and writing as needed to support the project objectives.
  • Assist with any other relevant task assigned by the Project Manager.
Eligibility:
  • Applicants to the GGGI internship program must at the time of application meet the following requirements:
  • Be a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) with Master’s degree.
  • Have pursued academics in a field directly related to the Institute’s work.
  • Possess an excellent command of English: both in written & spoken.
  • Be very well-versed in digital tools for research, analysis and design preferably.
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work in a team in collaborate effectively
Qualification:
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Science, Economics, Finance, English, Mass Communication, Journalism, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with topics relevant to the Institute’s focus, such as climate change and green growth, through graduate, postgraduate, or certification programs is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Skilled in computer-based desk research.
