Under the leadership of the Chief Finance Officer, the team manages the £25m annual turnover for the group’s 12 established legal entities, providing financial and management information to the Committees, Boards and Senior Management Team to support effective decision-making on the strategic direction of the charity.About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity for a strong and proactive leader to take responsibility for the day to day management of our finance team, assuming full responsibility for managing and monitoring the systems, policies and procedures and most critically the financial results across the organisation.The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience of managing a team ensuring all financial and management accounting procedures, payroll processes, budget reporting and the systems for effective cash flow projections and management are in place.You will have proven experience of devising and implementing effective plans, particularly in the areas of service development, staff development and management of change. Knowledge of the SORP/SOFA charitable finance regulations along with excellent IT skills are essential.
