Job description
Grafton Banks Finance is working exclusively with a global business with offices near Guildford to recruit a Group Reporting Manager (Hybrid with 3 days per week remote working). The successful candidate needs to be a fully qualified accountant with the following skills and experience:
- UK GAAP and IFRS reporting.
- Controls experience, ideally Sox, but can be other frameworks.
- Group Consolidations.
- Statutory Accounting.
Reporting to the Finance Director and managing a small team, the focus is on the financial accounting, reporting, treasury, and compliance of the business. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Overall controls, process, and auditory compliance.
- Group & Regional Financial Statutory accounts and reporting, supporting local entity filings and audits.
- Business partner for 3rd parties e.g.: Big 4 Auditors.
- Treasury, Banking, Tax, Pensions and other central items e.g. Insurance and FX management.
- Processes and controls updated to meet accounting standards and requirements, ensures consistency across regions and continuously reviewed.
- Accounting, reporting, and system improvements optimising technology and keeping up to date with enhancements.
- Accountable for overall audit, tax and statutory requirements and deliverables.
- Implements and supports new approaches e.g. Transfer pricing, FX reporting.
