Responsibilities

  • About the role
  • The mission of this role is to drive growth for Rokt through International Markets. The ultimate measurement will be hitting targets and growing the overall international portfolio for Rokt. Supplementary measures will be improving efficiencies/(profitability) over time (most mature markets first) and building the right structures within the team for success. The target is

20% of Rokt overall revenue by 2023. * Reporting into our Global Head of Business Development, the role is to be the connective tissue across our international business (UK/Germany/France) as the de facto GM for the international business, this role acts as the senior representative across all international GTM functions to ensure international opportunities receive the planning, focus/visibility, resources and the funding to meet the international revenue targets from existing and net new clients. This person should also become a highly respected member of the leadership team, adding value across all aspects of Rokt’s business.
Responsibilities

  • In partnership with and as a member of the GTM leadership team, this person should build a cohesive strategy (including stretch & achievable targets) for international expansion, determining where to focus and when, including research and market assessments to prioritize.
  • Develop GTM strategies for regions/markets including partnering with marketing to build net new opportunities for the BD team and ensure we are targeting the right mix for marketplace success.
  • Identify and activate strategic partnerships and the acquisition of key clients in each international market to accelerate growth.
  • Identify and project manage cross-functional streams to meet client needs.
  • Partner with the People Team to recruit and retain the best talent for BD international teams.
  • Establish success metrics for each new market and hold the teams accountable for achieving them.
  • Partner with legal to ensure we are compliant in each market, developing localized contracts and processes where necessary.
  • Move client prospects through the sales funnel, from consideration to executed contract including managing/supporting the pitch process; overseeing internal processes for responding to RFPs and preparing for pitches. Partner with the Customer Success team for 24 months from launch to ensure embedded success for each client.
  • Manage successful working relationships with the Executive team, GTM broader team and the rest of the business.
  • Contribute to the development of Rokt’s GTM strategy and materials, including marketing materials, credentials / capabilities, case studies and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Ensure the International teams maintain an updated CRM (Hubspot) database of prospect contacts, leads, and deal opportunities.
  • Ultimately, continuously achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.

Technical Skills & Expertise

  • A true sales leader with vast experience in closing complex deals and managing a large multi-level team
  • Deep knowledge and significant experience in technology and ecommerce
  • Able to develop strategy and execute with excellence in business development for international markets
  • High level of problem solving necessary to close the largest deals
  • Ability to to be successful working across multiple departments and managing senior stakeholders on high value projects
  • Be the directly responsible individual on assigned major accounts and point of escalation across all international clients
  • Through expertise, flexibility and creativity – gets deals done that people at lower levels likely could not
  • Has previously built and led international BD teams for complex technology products
  • Proven deep experience in the leadership of, and responsibility for, large BD pipeline and targets

  • Able to help Rokt develop and ideate on future long-term strategies while being opportunistic about short-term opportunities to hit goals

Compensation: £187,500 – £207,500 + Target Bonus + equity + (great) benefits!
