With decades of experience providing high quality building materials solutions to the construction industry, they are looking to expand their organization into the North American market for an exciting new growth phase. They are in search of a visionary and entrepreneurial Head of Canada to lead their strategic expansion efforts.In this crucial role, the Head of Canada will define the company’s strategic vision and oversee all key functions, including sales and marketing, operations, finance, and logistics. This leader will be essential in identifying growth opportunities, enhancing market penetration, and diversifying the company’s offerings.Key responsibilities will include developing talent and leadership across the Canadian business unit, optimizing operational procedures, and driving strategic decision-making to enhance business performance. This role will work closely with the leadership team to ensure alignment with long-term objectives and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
This is an exceptional long-term opportunity to make a significant contribution and will provide exciting challenges.The Ideal Leader would have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field is required; preference will be given to those with an MBA or advanced degree.
  • A proven track record of success in executive leadership roles within manufacturing and Distribution organizations with a preference given to those who have building materials industry expertise.
  • At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in comparable industries, with a minimum of 5 years as President and/or CEO of a similar business unit.
  • Demonstrated an ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and profitability. Specifically, customer innovation and top line revenue growth.
  • Proven experience in building and leading successful organizational expansion or establishment in Canada, with a history of delivering results.
  • Capability to manage internal and external risks effectively, ensuring resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Highly experienced in building and maintaining relationships with high-level executives, clients, and partners. Comfortable representing the company at senior levels. Solid project management expertise with ability to manage complex situations.
  • Experience in managing budgets, profit and loss statements, and financial performance metrics.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to enhance employee engagement and develop high-performance teams.
