Beach Baker is delighted to be exclusively working in partnership with Bath Spa University to recruit a Head of Estates Capital Projects.
THE UNIVERSITY
Bath Spa University is situated in the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath, with campuses at Newton Park, Locksbrook and Sion Hill. They also have teaching sites at Oldfield Park Theatre Workshop, Paintworks and Corsham Court.

THE POSITION
The University has a requirement for a Head of Estates Capital Projects to provide leadership, direction and management of various sized Estates projects, through significant project related stakeholder engagement, to enhance the University’s student experience.
The successful candidate will report to the Director of Estates & Services and will be involved in an exciting £55m new-build project developing the award winning Locksbrook Creative Campus Hub.

THE CANDIDATE
You will have minimum 10+ years’ experience in the construction sector, managing high value and complex property projects from inception through to the planning and construction phase. Must have a relevant professional membership, such as MRICS/MCIOB (or equivalent). Candidates looking to work on a part-time or compressed hours basis will also be considered.
SALARY & EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
Basic salary start at £61,198 increasing to £64,914.
44 days leave – 33 annual leave, 3 university closure days and 8 bank holiday (plus the opportunity to purchase an additional 5-days).
Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) – 17.5% employer contribution.
