An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Head of Finance – Governance. We are seeking a fully qualified AAT/CCAB accountant with significant experience in financial control, financial accounting and capital management within a large and complex NHS organisation.Main duties of the jobThis position is responsible for all aspects of financial Governance, capital, treasury management and control within the Trust.You will also play a key role in supporting the Associate Director of Finance in the management of the Financial governance team and be an collaborative member of the finance senior team.If you are a team player who wants to make a real positive difference, then we would really like to hear from you.For an informal discussion please call Andrew Ringshaw Deputy CFO & ADF (Financial Reporting & Control) on 0300 555 1201 ext 64015 (or email [email protected])About usStarting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.Probationary PeriodThis post will be subject to a probationary period.
