Get in touch with us to discuss in more detail.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a Head of Investment Operations Transformation to take the lead within the Treasury department in shaping, managing and executing our transformation and improvement plans across systems, processes and ways of working.Just is undertaking an ambitious growth phase in particular within defined benefit pension buy-in/buy-out transactions. As a key enabler for this growth phase the Group Treasury department, as part of Group Finance, is planning a substantial modernisation and development programme to our treasury and investment operational systems, alongside other related processes. In particular this involves optimising middle office, back office, cash management, investment accounting, reporting and asset valuation processes and controls. This role will be central to the successful delivery of this programme.RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Leadership:Develop and drive the Treasury transformation strategy in alignment with overall corporate strategy working in conjunction with delivery managers, technical leads on Treasury systems and processes and other stakeholdersLead the planning, execution, and delivery of transformation projects to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and complianceDrive broader developments across the Group Treasury operating model.Process Improvement:Identify, evaluate, and recommend process improvements across the Treasury function to streamline operations and improve performanceWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of process changes.Systems and Technology:Lead the implementation, and optimization of Treasury Management Systems (“TMS”) and other relevant technologiesEnsure that technology solutions align with business needs and facilitate improved financial reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.Change Management:Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to support the adoption of new systems and processesProvide training and support to Treasury team members to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption.Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, consultants and system vendorsCommunicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders regularlyCompliance and Risk Management:Ensure that all transformation initiatives comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policiesIdentify and mitigate risks associated with treasury operations and transformation projects.​Performance Monitoring:Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiativesMonitor and report on the performance of the Treasury function post-transformation to ensure sustained improvementsSKILLS & EXPERIENCEProven experience in Treasury, Finance, or a related field with significant experience in transformation or change management rolesDemonstrated experience in leading large-scale transformation projects within a financial services environment.Accounting or Treasury qualification is desirableStrategic thinking and planningChange management and organizational developmentProcess improvement and innovationFinancial acumen and risk managementFinancial/Treasury reporting processes and associated controlsStakeholder engagement and relationship buildingStrong understanding of Treasury Management Systems (“TMS”) and financial technologies.
