Get in touch with us to discuss in more detail.Head of LendingLondon – Hybrid (min 50% office based)We have a truly unique and exciting role, to be part of our Retail Commercial & Propositions Leadership team, to own and drive commercial success for the Lending arm of the Retail business.In this role, you will be in a strategic position, to drive growth of the propositions funded by Just Group, with a particular focus on retirement lending products. You will also be responsible for designing and developing strategies that support the delivery of the business plan including considering future distribution channels and products. You will oversee the design and delivery of proposition enhancements, both for Just funded as well as externally third party funded product lines.Key Responsibilities:Develop and deliver the commercial strategy to maximise growth for Just’s lending propositions whilst maintaining trading discipline to meet business plan targetsDevelop and implement the lending, proposition and pricing strategy including ensuring the products meet internally defined customer value metricsContinue to develop own brand proposition designed to differentiate and target customer segments and needsIdentify opportunities that lead to the growth of Just products and marketLead the team to drive successful design, development and delivery of all existing LTM proposition enhancements including new product variants and features, ensuring they are aligned to the desired customer segmentation for all own brand products and for all funders.Ensure all Group funded lending products (both own brand and third party) meet required risk, regulatory and legal standards.Provide leadership to the team in pricing and product and technical product knowledge across all Group lending channels.Be accountable for managing and monitoring performance against the retail business plan and adjust price and positioning as required in response to both internal priorities and external driversSkills and Experience :Previous commercial leadership experience within the retail property backed lending market is essentialSignificant experience in developing and delivering new propositions to market designed to challenge and lead market changeStrong proposition design thinking with excellent problem analysis and resolution skills;Strong strategic vision and development skillsExcellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner;In-depth understanding of the products and services provided by the Group and those provided by competitors;In-depth understanding of the competitive landscape (both distribution and product) of the retirement lending marketUnderstanding of life company financial and business model and in-depth understanding of the impact of retirement lending’s impact on this;A desire and ability to manage junior members of staff.Ability to identify, mitigate and manage business risk and controlsCompany BenefitsA Competitive Salary, Pension Scheme and Life AssuranceAlong with 25 Days Annual Leave plus an Additional Day on us for your BirthdayPrivate Medical Cover and Income Protection, just in caseA generous and highly achievable bonus scheme – paid annually based on individual and company performance against targetsOpportunity to progress within your career both in-role and within the companyFREE access to the Headspace App, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline and Trained Physical & Mental Health First Aiders (On-Site)A variety of Employee Funded Benefits available to you via our Online Benefits PortalPlus, several additional purchase options available for you and your loved oneAbout UsWe’re a FTSE 250 Financial Services company who specialise in retirement solutions and right now, our world is moving pretty quickly.How people work, save, and plan for the future is all changing.
