Full time, 37.5 hours per weekAn exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 8A Head of Neurophysiology at the Royal Surrey.As Head of Neurophysiology, you will be working in a fast-paced, busy and exciting environment. You will be fundamental to managing the data to day operations and hold responsibility for the overall performance of the service. The post holder will work in close liaison with our Neurology Consultants, Neurology Specialty Manager and Head of Service for Medicine, and is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure services continue to improve and develop.The successful candidate should be a flexible, highly motivated and proactive individual who is effective in managing both their own workload and that of their team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required as well as the ability to influence and motivate at all levels. - Understanding of equality and diversity issues and how this affects patients, visitors and staff
- Broad knowledge of Neurophysiology services.
- Ability to perform complex Neurophysiogical Diagnostic tests and ability to interpret the results
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CDP)

- BSc Hons in Clinical Physiology (Neurophysiology) or equivalent (BTEC, HNC/D)
- RCCP registration
