As the Head of Paid Media NA, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and identifying growth opportunities whilst optimising current operations for our clients. Your proactive leadership and deep industry knowledge and competitor insights will drive the discovery of new opportunities, building on a strong network of contacts within the industry. This role demands confidence, entrepreneurial energy, and the ability to inspire and guide teams whilst forging strategic partnerships to achieve ambitious growth goals.Key responsibilitiesStrategicDrive the company’s strategic growth by identifying and capitalising on new market opportunities and scalable channelsInspire and lead teams with a clear vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term goalsRepresent the company at client meetings, industry events and conferences, building and strengthening strategic relationshipsMarket Insights & InnovationApply deep industry knowledge to evaluate market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor strategies,driving the development of marketing initiatives and innovative product solutionsIdentify and champion unique value propositions for new products and features, ensuring competitive differentiationPaid Media & Campaign OptimisationOversee and scale paid media campaigns across channels such as direct publishers, PPC, and social mediaContinuously optimise media buying strategies to maximise on ROI whilst hitting client KPIs and aligning with business goalsEvaluate and integrate cutting-edge platforms and methodologies for campaign execution and performance measurementOperational Excellence & Team ManagementEnsure efficient resource allocation and oversee the successful execution of projectsLead and empower a high-performing team, providing mentorship and conducting regular performance reviewsFoster a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration across teamsCompliance & CoordinationCoordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and adherence to industry regulationsPromote a culture of compliance, managing operational risks effectively across all activitiesP&L responsibilityFull ownership for P&L for NA activitiesResponsible for developing and managing annual budgets, including forecastingProvide timely financial analysis and reporting to senior leadershipWork to identify and implement strategies to grow top-line revenue while improving marginsLocal Market Insights & StrategyLeverage deep understanding of NA to develop targeted affiliate marketing strategies that resonate with the audience and meet business objectivesIdentify regional trends, customer behavior, preferences, and seasonal patterns to optimize affiliate campaigns.Analyze local competitors and affiliate activities to ensure competitive positioning and identify opportunities for growthLead end-to-end campaign strategy and execution across various digital marketing channels including but not limited to SEM, Paid Social, Display AdvertisingProven track record (3 to 5 years) of driving growth through innovative strategies, managing budgets, P&L, and KPIs, while delivering results in competitive marketsStrong analytical skills for assessing markets, forecasting opportunities, and staying ahead of emerging trends.Entrepreneurial and commercially focused, with a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and adaptability in dynamic environmentsExpertise in the gaming, sports, and online gambling sectors, with deep knowledge of affiliate marketing, paid media strategies, consumer behaviour, and product growth marketingHas run digital marketing campaigns in the NA region (1 to 2 years)LocationLocation preference is to be within one of Better Collective’s New York or London offices.Application deadlineWe are looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.Start date: As soon as possible.
