OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. As a technology consultancy specialising in delivering data-driven projects across the entire data landscape, we need a strong sales leader who excels in solution selling and has a proven track record in scaling sales teams and performance. A strong track record in selling professional services is essential for this role. Our typical sales cycle spans 10-12 weeks, and there will be a focus on maintaining the momentum to close opportunities within that timeframe whilst scaling sales.The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan, overseeing the sales pipeline, and ensuring we meet our ambitious growth targets. This role is integral to expanding our client base and building long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders. You’ll manage end-to-end sales processes, work closely with marketing to align on lead generation and collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless client experiences.If you are a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesAn absolute must is the ability to utilise your established black book of contacts to initiate new client relationships and quickly generate sales opportunities.Lead the development of a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, focusing on new business generation and customer retention.Manage and coach a team of BDRs and Sales Team, setting clear goals and objectives to ensure high performance and team alignment.Own the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation through to closing, using Salesforce to track metrics and forecast accurately.Engage with senior-level clients, understanding their business needs and positioning our services and solutions effectively.Identify and implement process improvements to optimise the sales cycle, streamline workflows, and enhance client satisfaction.Partner with marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation campaigns and work closely with the delivery team to ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution.Key SkillsProven track record in a B2B sales leadership role, preferably within a consultancy or technology solutions environment.Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to connect with C-suite stakeholders and build trusted relationships.Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate sales goals into actionable plans.High technical aptitude, especially around data solutions, software, and technical services.Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.Your ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a senior sales leadership role within a consultancy (Professional Services) or SaaS/technology solutions environment selling services as well as SaaS.Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.Experience building and managing a high-performing sales team, with a focus on motivation, coaching, and development.Demonstrable experience in pipeline management, strategic sales planning, and forecasting.Previous experience in scaling sales operations within a high-growth tech environment is highly advantageous.Why BI:PROCSIWe started this company with a goal — a goal to be the very best.
