As the Head of Teaching, Learning and Digital Skills you will lead on the Institute’s approach to teaching, learning, assessment and digital skills, including;

  • Ensuring students are provided with opportunities and resources to develop their ability to utilise learning technologies, virtual-learning resources, and contemporary and relevant pedagogies;
  • Co-creation of curricula and assessment practices, involving learners and employers;
  • Designing engagement to allow students to become independent learners;
  • Utilising further new digital and technology-based methods;
  • Designing effective assessment practices which allow students to continually improve their understanding;
  • Ensuring the breadth of the Institute’s curricula appropriately reflects the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

You will also develop and lead the programme of continuous improvement initiatives relating to student outcomes and experience and have lead responsibility for improving the Institute’s student related Key Performance Indicators.
