My client in Falmouth are seeking an experienced and self motivated Head of Wellness to join their management team.As the Wellness Head, your primary responsibility involves supervising and guiding various facets of wellness programs and endeavours at this Resort. Your duties encompass the management of this acclaimed Spa and upscale Health Club, ensuring their sustained commercial prosperity. Your mandate includes formulating and executing strategies to enhance the well-being of both guests and staff, fostering a positive and health-focused atmosphere within the resort.Collaborating with a competent team, your role entails efficiently overseeing the day-to-day functions of the Spa and Health Club. Your focus will be on enhancing the guest experience and taking ownership of the commercial strategy. Your ingenuity will be crucial in devising initiatives that seamlessly integrate the wellness journey throughout the entire resort.Responsibilities & Duties (but not limited to):• This role is looking at a 360-degree ownership and coverage where you develop best in class service for Spa clients and Health Club members. • Coach and mentor, the management team whilst supporting the growth and development of the whole wellness crew.• Drive overall revenue growth across both departments by strategically managing HOD relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and maximising sales potential within the departments.• Strategically develop the departments budgets, identifying key sales opportunities, payroll control, cost planning and ensure each department reaches its EBITDA. • Working alongside the Marketing team to expand the brand and awareness nationally. • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in employee wellness programs.• Collaborate with HR, benefits, and other departments to integrate wellness into company policies and practices. • Analyse data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of wellness programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.Experience and attributes required;• Min 5 years in the Wellness sector – in either a Spa or Fitness business.• Min 2 years in a senior management position.• Ideally with a mix of commercial and operational experience. • Be passionate about the Wellness industry and the benefits it can offer.• Experience developing and building a high-performing team.• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.• Excellent organisational, administrative and project management skills.• Display initiative, an eye for detail and effective research skills.• Able to keep to a schedule and meet deadlines.• Be prepared to work additional hours in order to achieve the above.Salary;£40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience plus a sales targeted commission schemeGreat company benefits such as meals on duty, health club membership, friends & family room rates, incremental holiday entitlement, and a commitment to your ongoing development.For the full job description or for more information please contact Steph at Winners Recruitment, Truro.To apply submit your CV to [email protected]
