We are pleased to have exclusively partnered with an established college group to recruit a new Health and Safety Manager to the growing SHE team.Reporting to the Vice Principal, you will be leading and managing health and safety across the group to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for staff and students.Why this could be an excellent opportunity for you:

The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with current Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation across the group
- Line managing a team of three in Health and Safety and safety testing
- Work alongside management to identify health and safety requirements and ensure standards are met
- Assist and provide guidance on risk assessment and approving risk assessment documentation
- Investigate and report on all accidents and incidents within the college where required
- Carrying out Health, Safety, and Environmental audits and supporting management in making improvements where needed
To be considered for this role you should have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification as a minimum
- The ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
- Experience carrying out Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEPs) is highly desirable
- Management experience is preferred, or the ability to step into a management role
- Experience working in a variety of environments / risk profiles
