- Wash and dress patients
- Monitor and record clinical observations
- Support patients to eat and drink
- Help patients move around
- Make beds and maintain a clean, safe clinical area
- Talk to patients and their families
- Manage stock levels for linen and other supplies
The role involves shift work (early shifts, late shifts, long days, nights and weekends) so the ability to work these shifts is essential.However, as an organisation we support flexible working and have both full and part time roles available.With our comprehensive training and dedicated HCA education team, the HCA role can also lead to a variety of career opportunities.
