An exciting opportunity has arisen for aBand 2 HCA to join our Team at University Hospital Sussex NHS Foundations Trust in Worthing Hospital who provide outstanding care for patients with cancer. We are a friendly cohesive team and require a focused, committed, enthusiastic individual. To actively take part in meeting the needs of the patients under the supervision of a qualified nurse, working within the Trust’s policies and procedures and the philosophy of the department. To be an effective member of a multidisciplinary team under the direction and supervision of a qualified nurse and to be continually aware of the need for confidentiality. Where appropriate, to continue to develop own capabilities in nursing tasks in order to deliver a high standard of care. Monitor and record patient’s vital signs (including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation) and report any abnormal results immediately to registered nurse staff.
