  • Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner, equipment such as graders bulldozers scrapers, excavators, front-end loaders.
  • Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards.
  • Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading.
  • Must be able to locate utilities and other buried lines prior to trenching.
  • Other responsibilities include but are not limited to loading & unloading materials, trenching, backfilling, rough grading & finish grading.
  • Perform and record equipment inspections daily in Fleetio.
  • Perform minor servicing & maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
  • Keep machines cleaned & maintained.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to follow verbal & written instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must have the ability to read and follow construction blueprints.
  • Must possess skills, coordination, & awareness to operate heavy equipment safely with precision & efficiency.
  • Must have 2 – 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • Must have the ability to take instruction & directions from the site Foreman & provide support to other onsite personnel.

Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour*(Potential pay increase after 30-60 day evaluation)*Expected hours: 40 – 60 per weekBenefits:
