Details:Mission and objectives:The founders of the Africa Youths for peace and Development having seen harsh realities which are being experienced the entire continent as a result of war and the consequent violence galore which follow, have decided to form the organization with the vision of continental integration for peace and development for youths in the continent. It is the belief of this organization that violence achieves no meaningful goal.
Africa Youth for Peace and Development organization was formed 1995 and was finally registered in the year 2000 under the ministry of youth and sport in Sierra Leone, as a voluntary, youth development organization that aims at organizing, empowering and creating opportunities for youths and Youths groups that are in difficult circumstances.The organization has been working in the areas on Peace, HIV-aids, Homeless youths, War child, Health and Sanitation, youth development and total involvement of youths in the change of the society, That is by creating youth workshop training, seminars and conferences on how to bring everlasting peace and sustainable development for the minorities, the nation and the world as a whole.Context:Africa Youth for Peace and Development (AYPAD) is launching a worldwide e-commerce platform to connect small and medium-sized business (SMB) owners across the globe. This platform will serve as a global marketplace, enabling entrepreneurs to expand their reach, access international customers, and grow their businesses through digital commerce. Many SMBs face challenges such as limited market access, lack of online payment solutions, and logistical barriers. This project aims to break these limitations by offering a secure, accessible, and scalable solution for business owners worldwide.AYPAD is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist in the design, development, and implementation of the platform. Volunteers will collaborate on key areas, including web development, digital marketing, secure payment integration, logistics coordination, business strategy, and global networking. The platform will feature essential tools such as multi-currency payment systems, product listings, business support services, and marketing resources to help SMBs thrive in the digital economy.This assignment challenges participants to develop innovative and inclusive digital solutions that promote cross-border trade, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion. Front-end development using React.js or Vue.js for an intuitive interface.
