The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking a Class 2 Drivers for one of our clients in Basingstoke. Our client is a distributor of home & furnishings.

Rate of Pay:

• £16.37 per hour
• £24.55 per hour after 48 hours

Hours of work:

• 5 days out of 7
• 05:00 – 07:00 start
• This job offers a temp to perm role for the right candidate

Responsibilities of the Class 2 Driver:

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle from Basingstoke to various locations in Hampshire
• Face to face customer interaction
• Load and unload of vehicle with help from Drivers Mate and Warehouse Staff
• Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle (tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls.)
• Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely.
• Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Class 2 Driver:

• Category C Licence.
• CPC.
• Digi Tacho.

The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C Licence, DIGI Tacho and CPC card.
